Speech

My speech topic is pollution I chose this topic because pollution is spreading around the world.

When I presented my speech I felt nervous. What I could have done better was to be confident in my self.

My Speech:

Speech Topic: Pollution

Have you ever thought about pollution? Pollution is the rubbish created by people. Pollution is bad for the environment because there is too much rubbish. I believe that there is too much rubbish in the world and it is hurting our environment and the animals. Here are my three reasons why rubbish is bad.

Firstly, pollution is bad for the ocean because animals such as turtles eat the plastic mistaking it for food. Drink bottles end up in a river or ocean. Whales and birds have been found dead because they had too much rubbish inside them.

Secondly, pollution is bad because the side of the road is littered with rubbish. People chuck their rubbish out of the window. Have you ever seen them do that? I have. I have seen the roadside looking disgusting. It is not good. People will not want  to come to our environment because it is too messy in our world.

Finally, pollution is bad for schools because there could be too much litter. We need to continue to encourage litter free lunchboxes, so there is no litter in schools. Do you leave your lunch box rubbish at home? I do!

I believe that rubbish is bad for the community. Reduce your rubbish where you can, if not try to reuse and recycle rubbish in your homes. So there is less rubbish in our oceans, our countryside and our schools. When it comes to pollution, rubbish is bad.
