In Week 3 of Term 3, we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation. This week Mrs Craig Read the book: The smartest Giant in Town by Julia Donaldson.
It was about being kind.
I chose to build a bridge to help the giant get over the bog.
We are learning to advertise ourselves positively online by sharing on your blog for this task will be creating a poster about ourselves and about the different things that are most important to us.
today we wrote a piece of writing about the weather we got to choose whatever type of writing me wanted I chose to do an acrostic and lightning
The stars twinkle in the night.
The stars flash in the sky.
The stars dance in the night sky.
The biggest star is the sun.
The stars were smiling at me in the night.
Going To Waipu
On Friday, me and Mum went to drop my nana off in Auckland so she could go to my aunty’s birthday.
Then me and Mum went to Waipu and we had a sleep over at Mike and Katy’s house. They are Mum’s friends.
Katy took us to dinner. For starters, I had salad, prawns and waffles.
Me and Mason, who is Katy and Mike’s son, and my mum played handball. Mum were the best at it.
We had a cool time.
